Fed serving vital function

I am writing this letter in response to “Time to Eliminate the Federal Reserve” (Dec. 31). Though I fully understand the points made and respect Mr. Nilson for his grace and eloquence in making these points, I disagree with the basic premise of his argument: that the Federal Reserve is an unconstitutional institution that hurts the nation more than helps it. |
